The Director, Finance Technology will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of the Global Finance SaaS Technology team, focusing on modernization of the application portfolio and delivering solutions to support global business needs.

You will provide expertise and engineering excellence as part of an agile team to enhance, build, and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Leverage your advanced technical skills and collaborate across the organization to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Develop integration strategies and solutions for connecting and securing SaaS applications such as Anaplan, SAP/HR, Oracle Fusion, Workday with multiple Cloud IaaS (GCP, OCI, Azure).
2. Engage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across Global Finance, Canadian Banking, International Banking, Wealth Management, Global Markets, Data Office, and IT&S.
3. Prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to ensure successful launch of Finance SaaS programs.
4. Author architectural and data flow patterns to help assessment teams improve their processes.
5. Improve processes, demonstrating knowledge of the Financial Services industry and applications in areas such as finance transformation, performance management, financial systems optimization, shared services, outsourcing, talent management, and business intelligence.
6. Understand the implications of integration with core financial systems like Core Banking, GL, and Planning systems.
7. Translate business goals into technical specifications, providing thought leadership and driving technological change.

Candidate Skills and Experience:

• Passion for enhancing developer efficiency through DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation and IaC on GCP, OCI, and Azure.
• Proficiency in creating and manipulating YAML files.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, Google Anthos, and Cloud Run.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and solutions in applications or data technologies.
• Designing and developing large-scale data solutions using GCP services like DataProc, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Looker, and Cloud IAM.
• Experience in system performance tuning and security hardening.
• Monitoring, alerting, and logging experience for high-availability systems.
• Experience with SaaS applications such as Anaplan, SAP/HR, Oracle Fusion, Workday, and PowerBI on Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, and Artifactory.
• Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amid uncertainty.
