This position is part of the Customer Engagement & Data (CE&D) team, which drives transformational strategy by leveraging data to enhance personalized customer engagement and experiences. The team focuses on accelerating our Next Best Action initiative and building integrated customer strategies across channels, supporting RBC Bank U.S. and Caribbean banking businesses.

The Director, Strategy Enablement & Performance plays a vital leadership role within CE&D, fostering clarity, focus, and a strong performance culture. You will work closely with the CE&D Business Management team and leadership to:

• Enable leadership to concentrate on key priorities
• Align resources to accelerate value delivery
• Ensure strategic understanding across teams to inspire talent
• Promote a client-focused OneRBC culture

Success will be measured by confidence in achieving CE&D goals, employee engagement, team effectiveness, and accelerated market speed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate strategic priorities between SMT and CED, ensuring team alignment
• Develop clear, effective strategic materials and define success metrics
• Monitor progress against strategic priorities and manage routines to ensure focus and momentum
• Lead RBC Bank U.S. business management routines
• Identify opportunities to advance CE&D strategies and demonstrate RBC’s leadership model

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years in financial services strategy or management consulting
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with ambiguity
• Excellent communication skills, proficient in PowerPoint
• Stakeholder engagement experience, including with senior executives
• Experience in cross-functional initiatives in a matrix environment
• Self-starter with initiative and independence

Preferred:

• MBA or relevant postgraduate/professional certifications
• Management consulting experience
• Data-driven problem-solving skills
• Change management experience or training
