Market and Counterparty Credit Risk IT provides technology solutions to support Group Risk Management in managing Market and Counterparty Credit Risk.

Job Description

What will you do?

• Assume the role of Solution Lead, partnering with Business Leads and Product Owners to deliver the product and infrastructure roadmap involving Gen AI and ML capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution to software products involving Python, Java, Gen AI, and ML.
• Manage a team of developers responsible for delivering a top-tier product.
• Set the vision and establish a strategic roadmap involving Gen AI.
• Build exciting, customer-focused, engaging applications emphasizing software engineering, design, and architecture excellence.
• Provide leadership and expert counsel in establishing standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Must Have:

• 12+ years of building and leading high-performance software engineering teams in Investment Banking or Market Risk space, with experience in a product-based environment focusing on driving business value through innovation and delivery.
• 10+ years of IT development or 7+ years in applications development, design, implementation, or consulting.
• Strong technical delivery and team-building experience.
• Experienced Java and Spring technologist with a background in software development and architecture roadmaps/strategies.
• Experience delivering regulatory applications with modern user experience and security best practices.
• Experience designing and building microservice architecture-based applications in the cloud.
• Applied knowledge of traditional ML, Data Science, or Generative AI.

Nice to Have:

Experience managing application development financials, understanding overall financials, KPIs, and strategies to achieve KPIs through roadmaps and marketing.
