Job summary

TC Energy seeks a Director, Project Controls (Canada Gas Projects) to lead enterprise-level controls across a diverse capital portfolio. You will align planning, estimating, scheduling, cost management, risk and forecasting with governance, enabling informed investment decisions.

You will champion standardization while allowing project-specific approaches, collaborating with senior leaders and external stakeholders to deliver reliable performance insights.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, capital project execution, or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading organizational transformation and enterprise-wide change management.
• MBA or postgraduate degree preferred; professional PM/Project Controls certification sought.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership to influence strategy and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level leadership for Canada Project Controls with a long-term vision.
• Serve as trusted partner to Project Execution leadership; integrate controls with PM, engineering and governance.
• Drive transformation of processes, systems, tools and governance for efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure frameworks, methodologies and metrics are fit-for-purpose across regulated and non-regulated projects.
