We are seeking a strategic and visionary product leader to shape the direction and execution of a comprehensive in-store selling product portfolio. In this leadership role, you will define a multi-year product vision spanning customer experiences, services, and AI-driven insights to help retailers and local businesses succeed. You will translate customer needs, market intelligence, and business objectives into strategic priorities that drive measurable growth and customer value. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will guide investment decisions, oversee portfolio-wide execution, and address complex organizational challenges. You will also develop exceptional product leaders, strengthen product management practices, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. This remote opportunity offers the chance to influence product strategy at scale while delivering meaningful outcomes for merchants and the broader business.

Accountabilities

  • Guide product investment and prioritization decisions using customer insights, data analytics, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen the overall merchant experience.

  • Lead strategy, execution, and performance across multiple product areas, platforms, and teams, ensuring alignment between long‑term objectives and day‑to‑day delivery.

  • Translate strategic priorities into clear objectives, investment plans, operating models, and measurable outcomes that empower teams to discover, test, and deliver impactful solutions.

  • Identify systemic challenges and dependencies across product teams, making informed trade‑offs and ensuring accountability for customer and business results.

  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high‑performing product leaders and managers, strengthening strategic thinking, product judgment, and leadership capabilities.

  • Improve product management practices, organizational structures, and operating processes to support effective decision‑making and scalable execution.

  • Build strong alignment with executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders across engineering, design, sales, marketing, operations, finance, legal, and other functions.

  • Communicate complex customer, market, and business challenges clearly, helping stakeholders understand strategic choices and take coordinated action.

  • Champion customer and retailer empathy throughout the organization, ensuring product decisions address real‑world business needs.

  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that encourages innovation, continuous learning, shared accountability, and effective execution.

  • Balance speed, quality, investment priorities, and long‑term value to maximize the impact of the product portfolio.

Requirements
  • Significant product management experience in software, technology, or related industries, with a proven track record of delivering measurable customer and business outcomes across multiple product areas.

  • Demonstrated experience defining and executing strategy at a portfolio, platform, business unit, or organizational level beyond a single product or team.

  • Strong portfolio management capabilities, including investment prioritization, resource allocation, strategic planning, and decision‑making across multiple time horizons.

  • Proven experience leading through product managers and senior product leaders, including hiring, coaching, developing, and building high‑performing teams.

  • Deep understanding of modern product management practices, including discovery, experimentation, product delivery, outcome‑based planning, and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to translate customer research, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business objectives into clear product strategies and measurable results.

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build alignment across diverse teams and organizational levels.

  • A strong customer‑first mindset, with empathy for retailers and local businesses and an understanding of their operational challenges.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain complex strategies and adapt messaging to different audiences.

  • A collaborative, low‑ego leadership approach that builds trust, navigates ambiguity, and achieves alignment without relying solely on formal authority.
