Job summary

GraceMed is seeking a strategic Director of People & Culture to lead HR initiatives across its growing network of medical clinics in Ontario. This role will focus on building and operationalizing HR strategies that support scalability and enhance employee engagement in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR leadership experience, a strategic and operational mindset, and a track record in developing effective HR infrastructures.

GraceMed is entering an exciting new chapter. New leadership, ambitious growth, and a commitment to operational excellence. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on HR leader to join us as our next Director, People and Culture.

As the top HR leader at GraceMed, reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll shape how the company scales its people practices across a growing network of medical clinics in Ontario.

With a new CEO who has scaled founder-led healthcare businesses, and a new VP Operations with experience growing one of North America’s fastest-expanding clinic networks, GraceMed is poised for significant growth. This role is essential to building the infrastructure that enables that growth through people.

What you'll do

  • Develop and operationalize an HR strategy aligned with business goals across multiple locations
  • Partner with operations leaders to manage performance and engagement
  • Standardize people management processes; ensure compliance and consistency in employee relations and policy
  • Use data to guide decisions and improve engagement and retention
  • Manage a small HR team

What You bring

  • Senior HR experience in a growth-oriented, multi-site, or consumer focused environments
  • Demonstrated success building HR infrastructure to support performance and scale
  • Strong working knowledge of best practices in HR policies, procedures, and performance management
  • Strategic mindset with operational discipline and hands-on ability
  • Strong judgment, leadership coaching skills, and strategic capability
  • Comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
