Passionate Talent Acquisition Leader | Expert in Building High-Performing Teams | Driven by Innovative Recruiting Solutions and Enhancing Employer…

At CAAT, we’re passionate about what we do. And it shows!

Here, you’ll find a cultural spark in everything we do – from the way we partner with members and employers, to the way we work, collaborate, and grow. It doesn’t just feel different at CAAT. It is different. We’re one of the fastest-growing pensions in the country for a reason. We challenge the status quo, making a real impact on the hundreds of employers we serve – from education institutions to major corporations and household brands. And we’re just getting started. Driven by core values and a shared purpose, we’re fierce champions for better retirement security, known for our can-do culture where everyone plays a role in bringing our vision to life. If this sounds like a fit, we’d love you to be a part of it.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Director, Pension Solutions. At CAAT, we’re on a mission to serve 400,000 members by 2040, expanding access to sustainable and predictable pensions. As our Director, Pension Solutions, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of DBplus, our modern defined benefit plan, within the Canadian mid-market segment (roughly 500-1,000 members).

Reporting to the Vice President, Pension Solutions, you will develop strategic relationships, enhance our market presence, and position CAAT as the go-to pension solution for mid-sized organizations. This role is perfect for a trusted advisor and relationship builder with deep expertise in retirement solutions and a proven ability to drive business growth.

As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll:

  • Develop & execute strategic growth plans to expand DBplus within the mid-market segment, leveraging industry insights and buyer behaviors.
  • Lead business development efforts by identifying high-potential opportunities and converting them into long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with CAAT’s strategic goals and long-term vision.
  • Build and nurture high-impact relationships with key decision-makers, partnering with mid-market organizations to support their total rewards strategies and improve member outcomes. Ensure a seamless client experience, understanding unique employer needs and tailoring solutions.
  • Position CAAT as a thought leader by participating in industry events, webinars, and workshops, and publications that amplify our presence in the pension mid-market space.
  • Collaborate across teams—working closely with marketing, research, and stakeholder groups— to optimize outreach and engagement.

To Succeed, You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in the retirement industry, with expertise in the mid-market segment and a strong understanding of competitive offerings.
  • 10+ years of business development and/or client relationship management experience, ideally within pensions or total rewards.
  • Deep expertise in defined benefit plans, capital accumulation plans, jointly sponsored plans, or multi-employer plans.
  • A strategic and results-driven mindset, with a track record of successfully driving growth and market expansion.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Public speaking and thought leadership experience, engaging audiences through industry events and publications.
  • A post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Ontario and occasionally across Canada.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required.

At CAAT, we believe innovation, passion, and purpose are ingredients for a great work environment. We’re incredibly proud of our people and the remarkable impact they have as catalysts for change. We’re committed to attracting and keeping great talent, which means competitive compensation, exceptional benefits, and an environment where people can grow and thrive. When you work with CAAT, you’ll enjoy:
