Job summary

Mont Gabriel Hotel & Spa is seeking a Sales and Marketing Director to implement marketing and sales strategies under the General Manager. You will draft sales projections and manage a diverse corporate portfolio, including SMERF and associations.

The role rewards strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic vision, with responsibilities spanning marketing plans, market analysis, and cross-department collaboration to drive growth. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience in hotel sales.
• Fluency in French and English is required for this international clientele.
• DEC in Hotel Management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Draft sales reports and projections.
• Manage, retain, and prospect a portfolio of corporate businesses, SMERF, associations, corporate groups, and travel.
• Provide ongoing support in training and procedures to the sales team.
• Establish, develop, and maintain a network of contacts.
• Follow and implement current procedures and policies.
• Communicate effectively at all times.
• Collaborate with managers from front desk, reservations, dining, golf, and accounting.
• Develop sales and marketing strategies to grow the business.
• Develop marketing plans to promote the company's products and services.
• Conduct market and competition analysis to ensure competitiveness.

• Participate in setting company goals and strategic plans.

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for implementing appropriate marketing and sales strategies to achieve the company's sales and customer loyalty objectives.

Job Description:
