Altis is seeking a Director of Operations for Contract Logistics in Mississauga, ON. You will oversee multiple distribution centers, lead senior site managers and drive profitability while delivering exceptional customer service.

You’ll own portfolio P&L, coach leaders, build strong client relationships, and partner on RFPs and new business opportunities. This role requires strategic thinking, travel across GTA and occasional Canada-wide travel.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in progressive logistics roles with 2+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience overseeing distribution operations with P&L accountability.
• Strong commercial acumen including contracts, vendors, KPIs and SLAs.
• Experience driving improvements and employee engagement in fast-paced settings.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics or related field.
• Familiarity with WMS; Lean/Six Sigma or PMP assets.
• Willingness to travel and respond to after-hours emergencies.

In this role, you'll oversee a portfolio of distribution centers, lead experienced site managers and influence the experience of approximately 300–400 employees. You'll balance operational excellence, profitability and customer satisfaction while helping shape the future of contract logistics.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll provide strategic oversight of multiple distribution centers, ensuring operational performance, financial accountability and service excellence.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive logistics experience, specifically within third-party logistics (3PL) or contract logistics, including 2+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience overseeing complex distribution operations, managing leaders and maintaining P&L accountability.
• Strong commercial acumen, including customer contracts, vendor management, KPIs, SLAs and executive-level presentations.
• Experience driving operational improvements, strategic initiatives and employee engagement in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and QSHE requirements. Lean, Six Sigma, APICS, CPSM or PMP certification is an asset.
• Ability to travel and respond to occasional after-hours operational emergencies.
