The Firm is consistently recognized as a leader across Southwestern Ontario, is home to multiple lawyers named among The Best Lawyers in Canada and has been recognized as a Top Employer, in Guelph, and across Southwestern Ontario, and Canada. The Firm is deeply rooted in its communities — supporting local organisations through fundraising, sponsorship, and volunteerism.

The Firm has experienced continued year-on-year growth. To support the next phase of growth it is seeking an experienced individual to lead the marketing initiatives of the firm as its first Director of Marketing.

This individual will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, working with all members of the Management Team and Practice Group Leads. • Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and objectives.
  • Use market data to inform growth priorities and establish and report on key performance indicators.
  • Develop and monitor the marketing and business development budget, allocating resources to maximize return on investment.
  • Support business development training for lawyers to help them identify, develop, and secure new business.
  • Develop the Firm’s brand strategy and maintain consistent internal and external messaging across client touchpoints, aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Supervise and coach one marketing staff member, set objectives and accountabilities, coordinate workloads and resources, and share in hands‑on delivery while encouraging collaboration and diverse perspectives.
  • Stay current on relevant regulatory requirements, industry trends, marketing best practices, and digital advancements.
  • Lead other strategic initiatives and special projects as requested.
