Job summary

Aventus Development Corp. is seeking an experienced Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to build and own our management reporting, budgeting and forecasting from the ground up.

Qualifications

• CFA or CPA designation. 10+ years of progressive finance experience including 7+ years in real estate development and construction.
• Strong experience with financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.
• Solid understanding of development accounting, project budgets, cost-to-complete, lender reporting and covenant requirements.
• Proven ability to build management reporting, KPI dashboards and budgeting processes from the ground up.
• Advanced Excel skills with structured, auditable financial models and scenario analyses.
• Strong communicator who translates results into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Experience with ERP reporting, FP&A tools, automation and/or Power BI is an asset.

Responsibilities

Aventus Development Corp. is looking for an experienced Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our growing team. This is a new role with the opportunity to build and own our management reporting, budgeting and forecasting function from the ground up.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and teams across the business to understand what’s driving the numbers and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.

Expected Salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year. The final salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. We offer extended health and dental benefits, along with an RRSP matching program.
