We’re supporting a premium flexible workspace provider in their search for a Director of Accounting & Finance — a key executive hire who will lead financial strategy, team performance, and operational excellence across the business.

Location: Toronto (Hybrid flexibility)

The Role

You'll be the financial right-hand to the executive leadership team, overseeing all aspects of financial management — including accounting, reporting, forecasting, compliance, capital planning, and strategic investment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategy aligned with business objectives
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS compliance)
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Establish strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support capital management, investment due diligence, and long-term financial planning

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years’ experience in accounting/finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
• Strong command of GAAP/IFRS
• Expertise in ERP and financial systems (bonus points for Yardi Voyager experience)
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and leadership skills
• Real estate or workspace industry experience is a plus
