Job description

Responsibilities

• Operational Forecasting: Responsible for the review and analysis of forecasts; establish divisional profit forecasts and communicate issues to upper management.
• Internal Reporting: Key role in the accumulation of data and the formation of divisional financial forecasts, including quarterly, annual, and five-year forecasts.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct financial and strategic analyses on issues affecting the business environment, such as feasibility of joint ventures, market analysis of new applications, and collaboration with suppliers on business issues.
• Business Strategy: Develop short and long-term strategic plans by working with representatives from Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc., to create and present cohesive strategies.
• Valuations/Analysis: Provide comprehensive analyses and summaries on business decisions, including product line moves, sourcing, and facilities rationalization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; Master's preferred
• 3+ years in a similar role
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, JD Edwards/PeopleSoft, Cognos/forecasting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
• Experience interacting with senior management, legal, land banking, and banking professionals
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Leadership abilities: setting objectives, delegating, evaluating
• Sound judgment and high integrity
• Attention to detail with strategic focus
