Crozier is actively seeking a Director of Finance to join our growing firm in Ontario. You will serve as the lead finance executive, overseeing all accounting, treasury, and reporting activities while driving budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting improvements.

Reporting to the President and collaborating with the executive team, you will set benchmarks, monitor budgets, and provide strategic financial counsel to support growth and risk management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field; CPA designation required.
• 15+ years of proven accounting experience, with 10+ years in a senior finance leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP knowledge is an asset.
• Extremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis.
• Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills for strategic data interpretation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present to senior management and the board.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance managers.

Your Impact:

Crozier is currently seeking a Director of Finance to join our growing company.

Reporting to the President, the Director of Finance will serve as Crozier’s lead finance executive and be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, treasury, and reporting activities. As a strong communicator, you will make it your mission to streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. You will produce thorough financial-status reports for senior management, to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.

How you will contribute to the team:

• In conjunction with the Manager of Finance, oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures.
• In conjunction with the President and senior leadership team, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Achieve budget goals with proper analysis, and corrective action.
• Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies.
• Act as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic financial counsel to the President and the Board on investments, growth initiatives, and risk management.
• Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
• Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

What you bring:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field; CPA designation required.
• 15+ years of proven accounting experience, with 10+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); knowledge of US GAAP is an asset.
• Extremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis.
• Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
• Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board, or other outside partners.
• Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers. ???????

Salary range:

$130,000 - $170,000
