Job summary

RBC is seeking a Director, Executive Reporting & Engagement within Global Functions Technology (GFT) – Chief Operating Office. This role delivers high-impact executive reports, guides workforce initiatives, and aligns talent with GFT goals to empower employees across the organization.

You will partner with SLTs, COOs, and hub leaders to synthesize data into strategic narratives, maintain a monthly executive summary, and lead engagement/upskilling programs while coaching a high-performing

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in executive reporting or business analytics with 3–5 years in a people-management role.
• Advanced proficiency with business intelligence tools and hands-on experience with AI reporting tools (ChatGPT, Claude).
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and data storytelling capabilities to translate insights into executive-ready narratives.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills with ability to present to C-suite leadership.
• Experience developing and executing employee engagement and upskilling strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Executive Reporting for the GFT and T&O leadership – own and deliver Executive Reports: Develop high-quality, visually compelling reports and business reviews.
• Collaborate with SLTs and COO teams to synthesize data into actionable narratives.
• Maintain a strategic framework to track milestones and publish a monthly GFT executive summary.
• Lead and manage Employee Engagement and Upskilling initiatives for the GFT, developing a strategic roadmap.
• Partner with hub leaders and Halifax central team to plan workshops and events to foster collaboration and alignment.
• Measure impact with metrics on skill adoption, productivity, and engagement; ensure HR alignment for upskilling.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and career development for direct reports.
