Job Summary

The Director of Dining Services will oversee all aspects of food service operations, seasonal menu development, food preparation, P&L management, and ensure the highest standards of food, beverage, and customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the campus community. Responsibilities include managing and training staff, marketing dining services, maintaining quality and safety standards, and fostering positive relationships with clients and the campus community.

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Director of Dining Services in Marin County.

Qualifications
  • 8-10 years' experience in food service academic operations and management
  • Culinary skills in food preparation and event management
  • Proficiency in seasonal menu writing
  • Proven track record in P&L management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to develop future leaders and achieve excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Marin County and support company activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
  • Experience in multi-unit campus educational settings is important
