Job summary

Mine & Yours, a luxury resale leader in Canada, seeks a Director of Digital on a 15-month contract to own the strategy, growth and commercial performance of the online business, including Shopify Plus storefront, merchandising, site experience and analytics.

You will lead the e‑commerce team across Toronto and Vancouver, drive revenue, optimise the customer journey and implement scalable processes and technology for a best‑in‑class luxury online experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in e-commerce/digital commerce with leadership.
• Proven track record owning e-commerce revenue and growth targets.
• Strong Shopify/Shopify Plus experience and CRO know-how.
• Experience overseeing high-volume e-commerce ops and product publishing.
• Ability to turn data into action and manage projects.
• Experience with AI/automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the e-commerce strategy and digital sales plan to drive revenue growth.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Digital to join Mine & Yours on a 15-month contract. This role will own the strategy, growth and commercial performance of our online business, with direct accountability for driving e‑commerce revenue, sales and overall digital growth.

You’ll lead the e‑commerce team and oversee the Shopify Plus storefront, digital merchandising, site experience, inventory flow, product publishing, analytics and e‑commerce technology. You’ll use data, customer insights and emerging trends to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve conversion and elevate the online shopping experience.

This is a senior, hands‑on role that combines commercial strategy with digital and operational execution, with a strong focus on growing revenue, optimizing the customer journey, building scalable processes and technology, and delivering a best‑in‑class luxury resale experience online.

What You’ll Do

• Own the e‑commerce strategy and digital sales plan, with direct accountability for revenue growth, sales performance and achieving commercial targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the multi-location e‑commerce team, establishing clear sales KPIs, priorities and accountability.
• Partner with senior leadership on revenue targets, forecasting, budgets and strategies to drive online sales and business growth.

Analytics & Commercial Performance

• Own e‑commerce sales performance, forecasting and reporting across revenue, conversion, AOV, traffic, orders, sell‑through, returns and inventory.
• Identify opportunities to increase online sales through merchandising, pricing, promotions, product availability, customer experience and conversion optimization.
• Use data and customer insights to understand sales performance, identify gaps and drive actionable strategies to improve conversion, AOV and overall revenue.

E-commerce & Site Experience

• Own the Shopify Plus storefront, digital merchandising and end‑to‑end online customer experience, with a strong focus on driving sales and conversion.
• Continuously optimise the website to improve product discovery, conversion, AOV and customer engagement across the shopping journey.
• Ensure the website consistently meets Mine & Yours’ luxury brand standards while proactively identifying and recommending new ideas, trends, technologies and best practices to elevate the digital experience.

E-Commerce Operations & Inventory

• Own end‑to‑end e‑commerce operations and inventory flow from intake through studio, product publishing and fulfillment, with a focus on maximising speed‑to‑site and sales opportunities.
• Optimise inventory availability, product publishing, workflows and productivity across Toronto and Vancouver to ensure product is available online quickly and efficiently.
• Continuously improve processes and SOPs to increase speed, scalability, efficiency and revenue potential.

Cross‑Functional & Partner Leadership

• Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify and execute opportunities that drive online sales, revenue and customer growth.
• Lead e‑commerce initiatives and manage key agencies, vendors and external partners that support digital growth and performance.
• Ensure initiatives are delivered against clear timelines, budgets, commercial objectives and measurable ROI.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience in e‑commerce, digital commerce, digital product, or a related field, with 3+ years of people leadership.
• Proven track record owning e‑commerce revenue, commercial performance and growth targets.
• Strong Shopify/Shopify Plus experience, with expertise in digital merchandising, CRO and customer experience.
• Experience overseeing high‑volume e‑commerce operations, inventory flow and product publishing.
• Experience leading e‑commerce technology, integrations, automation and digital product initiatives.
• Strong analytical, commercial and project management skills, with the ability to turn data into action.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and operate strategically while remaining hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with AI/automation and luxury, fashion, retail, resale or high‑SKU e‑commerce is an asset.
