Position Summary: The Director of Corporate Accounting will oversee the corporate accounting functions, manage a team of six professionals, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. This role requires a strong background in public accounting, significant experience in the healthcare industry, and expertise in revenue accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the corporate accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Manage the revenue accounting process, including the recognition of revenue in accordance with ASC 606.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance on technical accounting issues and new accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and corporate accounting within the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
• Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
