You will lead through expertise and influence, own reference architectures, and contribute to automated governance and tooling while shaping standards across the Fitch Group line of business. Qualifications

• Strong backend/distributed systems experience including data modeling and event-driven design.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and applying agentic patterns to production workflows.
• Ability to drive adoption across teams without direct authority and earn trust.
• Customer-focused mindset with engineers as internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct architecture guidance to engineering squads in your line of business, guiding solution design and pattern selection.
• Help squads prepare for ARB/JAD sessions, validating designs before formal reviews.
• Build and maintain reusable reference architectures and code to raise consistency and speed across teams.
• Translate the Tech Roadmap into practical guidance for engineers building systems.
