On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre, and Internet & Private Networks.

Reporting to the VP, Advanced Solutions Sales, as the Director of Network Sales, you will lead a team of sales professionals — a technical overlay sales team — to drive sales and delivery of world-class network services across multiple channels.

The Advanced Solutions Sales team supports and sells to a wide range of accounts across all verticals to provide connectivity and other complex business solutions. As a leader of our network infrastructure and connectivity sales strategies, you should be a strong technical leader with sales acumen, passionate about your career and team leadership, and a subject matter expert in LAN/WAN network concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed business plans including forecasts, projects, operations, trends, and practice maturation
  • Develop executive relationships within traditional IS/IT organizations, lines of business, and top accounts
  • Develop overall national strategies focusing on people, opportunities, knowledge, and partnerships
  • Create strategies emphasizing consistent growth with a focus on emerging solutions
  • Collaborate with Take to Market teams to execute Networking Sales Strategies and tactics
  • Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure revenue and expense objectives are met, alongside customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve revenue targets
  • Oversee reporting, target setting, win/loss reviews, forecast, activity, and funnel management
  • Foster a performance culture through KPIs and individual development plans
Critical Qualifications
  • Proven sales leadership experience managing multiple channels
  • Experience in developing account strategies involving people, opportunities, and partnerships
  • Track record of improving productivity and sales force optimization
  • Recognized leadership with a team-oriented approach
  • Strong skills in content development and delivery in various settings
  • Advanced financial, business analysis, communication, and social skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic programs
  • Strategic thinker capable of identifying issues and opportunities in a dynamic environment
  • Committed to growing and developing high-performance teams
  • Effective public speaker who can articulate Bell’s network offerings and value proposition
Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Masters or professional designation preferred
  • 5-10 years of sales leadership experience in ICT or related disciplines
  • Experience in telecommunications or IT environments
  • Network infrastructure certifications
  • Proven ability to enhance productivity and optimize sales teams
