Job summary

BMO is seeking a Director of Money Movement to lead a portfolio spanning domestic and international payments, debit card management, and emerging payments. You will manage a team of product managers, drive 3-year roadmaps, and ensure profitable growth while delivering an optimal digital experience for retail customers.

The role requires 10+ years in retail product management with strong P&L, partnerships, and payments proficiency, reporting to senior leadership within Everyday Banking.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, MBA from a top tier school.
• Over 10 years of experience in retail product management, in banking and/or telecom and/or management consulting.
• 5-8 years of P&L and financial management acumen.
• 5-8 years of partnership development experience.
• 5-8 years of payments proficiency.
• 5+ years leading cross functional teams.
• Strong expertise in product management, product strategy and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create, define and drive the 3-year strategic roadmap across Money Movement portfolio.
• Proactively identify and assess new trends that will drive the roadmap of new products.
• Prioritize opportunities to improve digital capabilities and/or customer experiences.
• Launch new products and services to new and existing customers.
• Lead the implementation of complex projects with cross functional teams, through ideation, requirements, implementation and change management.
• Monitor progress against project plans to ensure completion on time and within budget.
• Full P&L ownership, track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
• Explain financial results and forecast future performance.
• Develop and nurture partnerships to maximize value for BMO.
