Job summary

Simon Fraser University seeks a Director, Hydrogen Hub Operations to lead the Core Facility's financial and administrative management, facilities operations, business development, marketing and research design. The incumbent will manage capital, operating and revenue budgets, advise leadership on hub development, and oversee daily use of analytical and hydrogen production equipment.

• Doctoral degree in Science or Engineering.
• Four years of related experience in research or industrial environment.
• Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and facility operation management.
• External relations, marketing, communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hub financial and administrative facility operations.
• Lead business development, marketing and research design.
• Manage capital, operating and revenue budgets and advise leadership.
• Identify potential industrial research partners and support grant proposals.
• Promote the hub through information sessions, tours and open houses.
