The Corporate Sales & Structuring group is a team within Global Markets Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC) responsible for originating and executing hedging and financing transactions for BMO’s corporate and commercial clients. Working closely with investment, corporate and commercial banking, the team serves as product experts with a coverage universe including foreign exchange, interest rate and equity derivatives, structured finance, equity linked securities and commodities.

MANDATE

Reporting to the Managing Director & Head Foreign Exchange Structuring, the Vice President or Director (depending on experience and qualifications) role requires the ability to structure options with high attention to detail to respond efficiently to pricing requests and propose client solutions. The candidate should also be capable of presenting ideas to the sales team and clients.

This position is suited for talented, highly motivated individuals seeking to advance their careers in Capital Markets. Location : preference for Toronto but other major North American centers will be considered.

• Structuring trades in Murex, incorporating trader inputs
• Enhancing Client Relationships
• Partnering with Global FX sales to support client relationships and business development
• Developing value-added trade ideas based on economic, political, and market trends
• Identifying and delivering restructure opportunities for clients
• Conducting client presentations and building analytical capabilities
• Working with internal partners to improve processes and offer value-added solutions

SCOPE AND IMPACT

This role impacts revenue generation, business growth initiatives, client exposures, and market risk. The candidate will contribute strategies and recommendations that drive significant revenue for the Business Unit.

Knowledge And Skills

Knowledge :

• 5+ years experience in FX sales / trading with strong knowledge of FX options
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
• Experience with Murex, WSS or similar systems
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg and MS Office, including VBA

Skills :

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Expertise in building FX option structures
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Creativity, insightfulness, and resourcefulness
• Interpersonal skills for team collaboration

Compensation

Base Salary : $165,000-180,000

Pay Type : Salaried, with potential for performance-based incentives, bonuses, and other benefits. Salary varies based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
