A leading financial institution in Toronto seeks a Director of Functions Performance Management to lead the Global Functions Platform Performance Management team. The role involves managing financial forecasting, reporting, and enhancing cost transparency. Candidates should have a CA, CMA, CGA, MBA or equivalent with over 10 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in financial systems and MS Office applications., This position offers full-time employment with a focus on providing strategic financial insights to executives.
The Director, Functions Performance Management leads the Global Functions Platform Performance Management team, which is responsible for managing the forecasting, planning, reporting, and allocation activities for Global Functions Finance, and for supporting the analysis of operating results.
Act as a key leader in the team with respect to the effective execution of Global Functions Finance PM requirements, including system enhancements, calendar, team processes, and other opportunities to increase the capacity and effectiveness of the team. This role provides leadership in the provision and enhancement of cost transparency to the firm, notably through the provision of clear and useful information to the platforms through allocations.
The Director is a key business partner providing financial information to finance executives to support understanding and decision making. This includes leading the provision of accurate monthly financial information as well as ensuring the allocation methodologies are appropriate and updated on a regular basis.
