What You'll Do :

Accounting operations

  1. Manage accounting operations for PCF&S, including the President's Choice Mastercard, Money Account, The Mobile Shop, Insurance, and gift card lines of business.
  2. Oversee monthly financial close and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  3. Ensure accuracy in the general ledger, settlements, and reconciliations.
  4. Support the business by analyzing transactions and performance, applying appropriate accounting treatments.
  5. Handle accounts payable and regulatory submissions.
  6. Develop, test, and continuously improve internal control policies and procedures.
  7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within accounting operations and the broader enterprise.
  8. Assess and enhance internal controls, collaborating with assurance and risk management teams, and support external audits.
  9. Mentor and develop the accounting team through training and leadership.
  10. Align team and enterprise strategic objectives, fostering the company's core values.
What You Bring :
  • At least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in internal control assessment and risk mitigation solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines within a matrix organization.
  • Strong collaborative skills across departments and companies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams.
