Job summary

Groupe Nordik in Canada seeks a driven VP IT to oversee all applications—from reservations and payments to loyalty, guest experience and ERP/CRM/HR platforms. You will translate the technology vision into a concrete roadmap, leading a multidisciplinary team with external partners, and making AI a real lever for faster, more secure delivery.

You will champion modernization, architecture, testing, and governance while shaping the portfolio and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience delivering business-critical applications and leading managers or multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, AWS, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience using AI to improve development, testing or delivery.
• Be bilingual (French and English), spoken and written, at a professional level.

Responsibilities

• Build and drive the application roadmap with the VP IT, setting quarterly priorities, owners and measurable outcomes
• Lead and develop the Product Ownership & Business Analysis and Development managers, as well as the application-operations specialists
• Turn business needs into solutions users adopt, with user acceptance testing (UAT), training and change support
• Ensure development quality, release governance and support for critical applications
• Manage the lifecycle of enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, HR, E-commerce): evaluation, configuration, upgrades, integrations and vendor relationships
• Define the architecture and integration standards (APIs, services, data), including readiness of our applications to integrate AI agents
• Deploy AI across business analysis, development, QA and CI/CD, and measure the gains
• Embed cybersecurity at every stage of the application lifecycle, in collaboration with the Director IT
• Manage the portfolio budget (cloud, licences, AI, external resources) and optimize the balance between internal teams and partners
