Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in engineering, maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing operations.
• Significant experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or related industries.
• Proven track record leading large-scale capital programs and operational transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience in asset management, maintenance excellence, reliability engineering, and automation.
• Deep understanding of CMMS/EAM systems, ERP platforms, and manufacturing technologies.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen, capital planning, and budget management.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of GMP, food safety, regulatory, environmental, and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Automation, and Technical Services strategy across North American operations.
• Develop and execute enterprise-wide Maintenance Excellence and Reliability programs.
• Lead North American capital planning, governance, budgeting, and project portfolio management.
• Chair the Maintenance Excellence Advisory Council and drive organizational alignment.
• Oversee major engineering programs and strategic capital investments.
• Standardize engineering, reliability, and maintenance practices across all manufacturing sites.
• Drive a proactive culture focused on asset management, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Manage strategic relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
• Evaluate and prioritize capital projects to support growth, capacity, safety, and operational improvement objectives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Plant Leadership teams.
• Monitor capital spending, project execution, and portfolio performance.
• Develop and mentor engineering and maintenance leaders across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement, standardization, and best-practice sharing across the business.

About the Role

Mother Parkers is seeking a visionary Director, Engineering Maintenance & Reliability to provide enterprise-wide leadership for engineering, maintenance, reliability, automation, technical services, and capital management across its North American operations.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this executive leadership role will drive engineering strategy, maintenance excellence, capital governance, operational reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance asset performance, operational resilience, and business growth.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader capable of transforming operations through standardization, best practices, technology adoption, and world-class asset management programs.
