Job summary

City of Saint John is seeking a Manager, Digital Solutions to oversee the delivery and ongoing management of the City’s enterprise applications, digital solutions, and data management. The role ensures reliable, secure systems aligned with strategic goals and supports business outcomes and service delivery.

The position balances governance, solution design, and hands-on oversight of systems, vendor relations, and project execution, including lifecycle management of on-premises and SaaS platforms

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience with enterprise applications, digital solutions and information management.
• Experience with enterprise systems (financials, HR/payroll, procurement) and integrated platforms.
• Experience leading projects and managing cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery and lifecycle management of enterprise applications and digital solutions.
• Ensure reliability, security and alignment with strategic objectives across on-premises and SaaS platforms.
• Lead governance, solution design, and delivery while supervising systems, vendors and projects.
• Manage data, reporting and analytics, ensuring compliance with governance and information management practices.
• Foster adoption of enterprise systems and prioritize initiatives to meet corporate strategy.
