Job summary

iA is seeking a Director, Digital Platforms Strategy and Adoption to define and evolve the strategy for customer-facing digital platforms, align with business priorities, and maximize adoption and value.

This role requires leadership, a strong UX/product background, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Bilingual English/French is required in a hybrid Canadian environment.

Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Has seven or more years of relevant experience in digital strategy, platform management, or digital product management, including leadership roles.
  • Demonstrates experience defining digital strategies and managing high-impact digital platforms.
  • Has experience developing strategic roadmaps and prioritizing investments.
  • Demonstrates experience leading and mobilizing professional teams.
  • Possesses knowledge of user-centered design (UX) principles, digital product development, and adoption drivers.
  • Is recognized for placing the customer at the center of decision-making and delivering digital value.
  • Stands out for influencing decision-makers and aligning partners around objectives.
  • Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry is an asset.
  • Intermediate English and advanced French proficiency required.

  • Govern roadmaps and initiatives contributing to platform evolution.
  • Provide leadership to partners and teams, fostering a results-driven culture.

As Director, Digital Platforms Strategy and Adoption, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:



  • Define the strategic direction and evolution of customer-facing digital platforms in alignment with business priorities.

  • Establish strategic objectives, performance indicators, and targets that maximize the use and value of digital platforms, while recommending investments, priorities, and roadmaps required to achieve business results.

  • Ensure alignment and prioritisation of digital initiatives by leveraging data, customer behaviours, customer feedback, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

  • Define the strategy for digital customer journeys to deliver simple, consistent experiences aligned with customer needs, while enhancing customer satisfaction, autonomy, and loyalty.

  • Design and continuously evolve digital solutions and experiences that drive adoption by reducing friction points and simplifying key interactions with the organization.

  • Be accountable for the performance, evolution, and value creation of the digital platforms under your responsibility, including the achievement of digital adoption targets and expected business benefits.

  • Identify opportunities to increase the use of digital customer journeys and recommend actions required to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Ensure governance of digital platforms, including the definition and execution of roadmaps, as well as alignment of initiatives contributing to their evolution.

  • Provide influential leadership to partners and stakeholders while leading, engaging, and developing the team under your responsibility in a culture focused on results, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Stands out for the ability to influence decision-makers, align partners around common objectives, and leverage data and performance indicators to guide business decisions.

  • Has knowledge of the issues, trends, and business model of the property and casualty insurance industry, considered an asset.

  • Intermediate level of English and advanced level of French proficiency is required, as the successful candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate with unilingual English-speaking and French-speaking partners on a regular basis.
