What is the opportunity?

The Director, Cyber and Technology Risk Framework and Standards will lead the bank's cyber and technology policies and standards. Responsibilities include maintaining the framework, managing governance roadmaps, guiding policy development, and ensuring effective communication and compliance.

You will support Operational Risk Management in overseeing policy compliance, monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining the Cyber and Technology Regulatory Intelligence repository, and facilitating gap analyses to ensure policies align with regulations and risk management standards.

What will you do?

• Provide expert advice on RBC's security framework, policies, and standards.
• Contribute to developing IT risk governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Manage the Cyber & Technology Governance Roadmap and schedule for policy updates.
• Maintain the repository of frameworks, policies, standards, and regional addendums.
• Coordinate regulatory change scanning and gap analysis with regional teams.
• Assess RBC's risk and policy effectiveness using analytics and reviews.
• Handle questions from regulators and third parties regarding policies.
• Maintain profiles for Cyber and IT Risk Governance Domains.
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders and provide risk insights to business and technology partners.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• At least 8 years of IT experience.
• At least 5 years in Information Security services.
• At least 5 years of technology operational experience.
• Experience defining and implementing cyber and technology policies across platforms.
• Ability to facilitate constructive debates and collaboration.
