Job summary

Agropur Cooperative seeks a Director, Cooperative to define and implement a compelling cooperative vision across Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. You will lead programs for member engagement, governance, and services, while guiding the Cooperative Affairs team to deliver measurable results aligned with strategic priorities.

You will partner with senior leaders to develop objectives, monitor performance, and foster collaboration with members, delegates, and boards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, agricultural economics, business administration, or related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in agriculture/dairy or cooperative setting.
Proven leadership with ability to develop and advance teams.
Knowledge of Canadian dairy industry, cooperative governance, and member issues.

Responsibilities

Lead the Cooperative Affairs team of about ten employees with strong performance management.
Design and execute member engagement, governance meetings, and strategic initiatives.
Oversee patronage payments, share redemptions, and member registry management.
Collaborate with Communications and other departments to inform members.
Plan budgets and annual objectives for the Cooperative Affairs Department.
