About the role

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director to lead our Cloud Infrastructure Financial Operations. This highly visible role is responsible for shaping and executing the infrastructure financial strategy, ensuring value realization from investments, and overseeing vendor and contract management. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial governance, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership within complex IT environments.

What you'll do here
Strategic Planning & Leadership
  • Develop and lead the IT Infrastructure strategic plan across all technology streams.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of managers and professionals in financial operations and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with enterprise goals.
  • Drive optimization and cost-reduction strategies across infrastructure programs.
Execution Oversight & Program Governance
  • Govern and oversee infrastructure and cloud programs to ensure accurate, visible, and predictable delivery.
  • Partner with project managers and control officers to manage budgets, recoveries, and financial performance.
  • Ensure resources are aligned with priority initiatives and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication across all levels of the IT organization.
Value Realization & Financial Performance
  • Lead business case modeling for new infrastructure initiatives, including modernization and operational improvements.
  • Partner with Finance to track return on investment (ROI) and ensure benefits are realized.
  • Collaborate with the FinOps team to implement show-back and chargeback processes.
  • Govern and report on scorecards for Infrastructure, Cloud, and Portfolio of Strategic Initiatives (PSI).
Contract & Vendor Management
  • Define and execute a vendor management strategy aligned with technology roadmaps.
  • Lead major contract renewals in collaboration with Product Owners and Procurement.
  • Ensure asset inventory integrity is centralized, maintained, and compliant with regulatory policies.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and strategic alignment.
What you bring to the table
  • Proven experience managing cybersecurity functions (Governance, Risk, or Compliance).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in complex IT environments.
  • Experience engaging with executive leadership, board members, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • High integrity and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
