Job summary

The City of Toronto is seeking a Director of business solutions architecture and standards to translate business goals into technology roadmaps, blueprints and actionable architectures. You will interpret requirements, align enterprise solutions with strategic objectives, and lead architectural initiatives across programs and vendors.

You will establish and enforce standards, drive application rationalization, enable cost-efficient IT, and guide changes in roadmaps and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior technology program delivery roles.
• Development of strategic plans, standards, and guidelines for roadmaps.
• Strong technical background in enterprise architecture frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, middleware, and development tools.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and set long-term objectives.
• Ability to establish teams in complex, multi-vendor environments.
