Job Description

Seeking an experienced Applications Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead solution architecture, cloud application design, enterprise architecture artifacts, and technical governance for large-scale public sector IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud/SaaS application architectures and technical solutions.
• Create enterprise architecture artifacts including:
  • Business Architecture Document (BAD)
  • Solution Architecture Document (SAD)
  • Solution Requirements Document (SRD)
  • Information Architecture Document (IAD)
• Lead architecture review board (ARB) activities and project gating approvals.
• Develop logical/physical data models, data dictionaries, CRUD matrices, and integration/interface documentation.
• Ensure privacy, security, testing, and compliance requirements are addressed.
• Support UAT/testing, onboarding documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Collaborate with business, technical, and stakeholder teams throughout project lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of IT architecture experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Cloud and SaaS architecture
  • RESTful APIs and integration patterns
  • Enterprise security and application security best practices
  • Microservices, layered, and event‑driven architecture
• Experience with structured SDLC methodologies.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture standards and artifacts.
• Hands‑on experience with architecture modeling tools such as:
  • Enterprise Architect
  • Power Designer
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Preferred

• Public Sector experience.
