About Us

Jonas Software, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), is a global acquirer and operator of vertical market software companies. We acquire, strengthen, and grow exceptional businesses, empowering them to lead within their specialized industries. Being one of the largest groups within Jonas, we are looking for a strategic leader to help us scale.

Position Summary

We’re hiring a Director of Business Analytics and Strategy to work directly with the Portfolio CEO, supporting a group of high-performing software businesses across multiple verticals. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on enabling data-driven decision-making, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. You'll be central to creating consistency and visibility across business units—developing performance frameworks, optimizing operations, and helping leadership unlock long-term value.

This is a rare opportunity to shape strategy and execution at scale, within a publicly listed and globally respected software powerhouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cross-Portfolio Analytics: Build and oversee a centralized analytics function that supports SaaS business units across multiple verticals.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to standardize reporting, improve efficiency, and embed continuous improvement practices across recurring revenue operations.
  • Enable Strategic Decision-Making: Deliver actionable insights to Business leaders/Presidents by developing dashboards, KPI frameworks, and deep performance analyses by department.
  • Support Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with business unit leadership on strategic planning, pricing strategy, customer retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • Enhance Data Infrastructure: Partner with Leadership teams to improve reporting systems, data governance, and analytics tool adoption.
  • M&A Integration Analytics: Support the integration of newly acquired businesses by establishing performance baselines and driving synergy realization through data.
What You Bring
  • University degree in a business, finance, economics or accounting-related field with an excellent academic record.
  • 5+ years in business analytics, strategy, or operations—ideally in B2B SaaS or vertical market software.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous desire for performance improvement.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, building financial models, and capable of translating raw data into thoughtful analysis and concise recommendations that will be delivered to senior executives.
  • Able to influence decision making, ask probing questions and be driven by challenging the status quo.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task between various ongoing responsibilities to meet established deadlines.
  • Expertise in SaaS metrics and frameworks (ARR, Churn, CAC, NRR, LTV, etc.).
  • Strong command of BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment between data, operations, and leadership.
  • Proven experience working in or across portfolio companies, with strong executive-level communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA), or actively working towards one, is an asset.
  • Experience with M&A integration or working in a private equity or holding company structure is a plus.
Why Jonas Software?
  • Join a high-performing, entrepreneurial culture backed by the stability of a publicly traded parent company (CSU.TO).
  • Make a visible impact by shaping analytics and strategy across multiple fast-growing SaaS companies.
  • Collaborate with leaders who value insight, ownership, and long-term thinking.
  • Enjoy autonomy, challenge, and opportunities for advancement in a global, decentralized organization.
