Job description

We are seeking a Junior Inventory Analyst to support materials management and inventory optimization for a leading energy company. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, SAP MM, or materials coordination who wants to grow their career in supply chain and logistics within the oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing inventory levels and tracking material movements using SAP MM.
  • Support Material Master data maintenance, updates, and corrections in SAP.
  • Help analyze slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposal strategies.
  • Work with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock records.
  • Assist in generating inventory reports and KPI tracking.
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Learn and follow best practices for spare parts management (mechanical, electrical, piping, etc.).
  • Support process improvements for better inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, materials coordination, or SAP MM support (industrial, energy, or manufacturing background preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of SAP MM transactions (goods movements, stock transfers, reporting).
  • Understanding of inventory control principles (min/max levels, stock replenishment).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory):

  • Exposure to maintenance or plant operations (turnarounds, shutdowns, or spare parts).
  • Experience with data uploads in SAP (Excel-based or migration tools).
  • Familiarity with oilfield materials (valves, pumps, fittings, electrical components).
