LNIBDC is the wholly owned economic development entity of the Lower Nicola Indian Band (the "Nation"). The role of LNIBDC is to promote prosperity and self-determination for the Nation through sustainable business development that aligns with the Nation’s goals and values.
Current focus areas may include land and resource development, construction, partnerships with private sector entities, and the creation of employment and training opportunities for members of the Nation.
We are looking for qualified and dedicated professionals to join the Board of Directors of the LNIBDC. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the strategic economic development that supports the Nation's long-term vision.
Board Directors are responsible for providing governance and oversight for the activities of the LNIBDC, ensuring that operations align with the Nation's economic, environmental, and cultural priorities. Meetings will be held quarterly, with options available for remote participation.
