Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Audit & Risk to join our office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Director, Audit & Risk provides strategic leadership and oversight to the Winnipeg-based internal audit and risk function, ensuring the organization's risk management and internal control systems are effective and efficient. This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on audit activities, as well as advising senior management on risk management and control issues. It’s a role that’s central to WCLC’s operations – helping us understand and mitigate risks in our current and future business environment so we can continue to generate dividends that benefit our member provinces. The Director, Audit and Risk reports functionally to the Audit Committee Chair and administratively to the President & CEO.

You may not be very familiar with WCLC, but you’re almost certainly familiar with the products we help bring to players throughout the Prairie Provinces and the North every day; lottery games like LOTTO 6 / 49, SPORT SELECT, and dozens of instant scratch tickets.
WCLC is the non-profit organization authorized to manage, conduct, and operate lotteries – at retail and online – and other gaming-related activities for the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
