Job summary

Karis Disability Services is seeking a Full-time Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in Ottawa. The role includes morning and evening shift rotations, every other weekend and occasional night awake shifts.

Salary range is $24.20–$26.82 per hour, with opportunities for growth and a strong commitment to accessibility. This position emphasizes dignity, independence, and supporting clients to live fully in the community.

Qualifications

• Behavior intervention experience is required.
• Preferred: 3–6 months work experience.
• Preferred: Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related post-secondary education.

• Support people to exercise rights to direct their lives and develop new skills.
