Job summary

Karis Disability Services seeks a Direct Support Professional in Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON. This temporary, part-time position (25 hr) helps people with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

Shifts are flexible across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with an hourly rate of CAD 25.18–29.46. Start date ASAP; closing date October 22, 2026; potential for extension and access to tuition reimbursement and career development.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation.
• 3–6 months experience preferred (volunteer or employment).
• G Drivers License preferred.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements:
