Job summary

Heart of Niagara Hotels is seeking a part-time Server at Ostin’s Restaurant in Parkway Social & Ostin’s. You will deliver attentive service, showcase menu knowledge, and maintain a warm, professional presence during lunch and dinner services.

Join a premium casual dining team, collaborate with kitchen and bar staff, and contribute to guest satisfaction while balancing a busy service pace and a polished appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume or upscale casual dining restaurant.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including: days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service in a premium casual dining environment.
• Greet guests promptly and guide them through menu offerings, specials, and beverage pairings.
• Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond proactively to requests or concerns.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Uphold Ostin’s standards of service, presentation, and professionalism at all times.
• Support fellow team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

Position Summary

As a Server, you are the face of our restaurant and play a key role for providing attentive service, expert menu knowledge, and a warm, professional presence. Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and carrying trays and supplies (up to 25lbs)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as setting and clearing tables
