Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Manager & Manager, Food & Beverage, the Dining Room Server acts as a personal representative of the Woodbine Full-Service Restaurant Dining Rooms by providing prompt, attentive, and professional service. The role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a passion for hospitality, embodying professionalism and attention to detail to uphold our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Deliver and exceed guest service standards as established by the F&B Department.
• Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude.
• Greet guests, take orders, recommend menu items, and suggest pairings.
• Accurately ring orders, check for allergies, and serve food and beverages as per standards.
• Ensure timely removal of soiled dishes and glasses, and process payments accurately.
• Adhere to Smart Serve and AGCO regulations.
• Maintain in-depth menu knowledge and assist guests accordingly.
• Gather guest feedback and address minor issues promptly.
• Follow grooming and uniform standards and attend training sessions.

Operations

• Perform opening and closing procedures, including setting tables and stocking.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Transport food, trays, and dishware appropriately.
• Follow department policies and track inventory accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Communication

• Work harmoniously with team members and assist with duties to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Report incidents or issues to supervisors and suggest improvements.
