Job summary

Xylem Canada Ltd. is seeking a Market Development Manager, Automation & Digital Services to support and expand the sales of Flygt automation and digital solutions in the Western Canadian Region.

Reporting to the Sales team, the role collaborates with Flygt branch offices, distribution partners, and the Sales Director to strengthen Xylem’s presence in municipal and industrial markets. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, driving market development, and increasing sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in automation and control systems.
• Solid understanding of the water and wastewater industry.
• Experience in consultative selling and value-based sales.
• Experience managing sales opportunities and pipelines through a CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical and commercial resource for Xylem branches and distribution partners.
• Coach and support sales teams to drive development and success.
• Deliver technical and commercial training on Flygt ADS products and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Coordinate sales efforts with Flygt sales representatives and distribution partners.
