Job summary

Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is seeking an Information Management Lead in the Enterprise Data and Analytics branch in Toronto. You will advance the RIM program, ensuring information assets are managed end-to-end in line with legislation and governance considerations.

You will provide senior-level guidance, develop RIM policies, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to integrate RIM requirements into enterprise initiatives, including AI-driven projects.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of practical and progressive experience in information management or related discipline.
• Knowledge of information lifecycle management principles and records scheduling.
• Experience developing and implementing recordkeeping and information governance frameworks and controls.
• Familiarity with MPBSDP/IPC directives and guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of RIM services to manage information assets lifecycle in compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
• Advance Digital Records Management Program with classification, retention and disposition controls.
• Develop, maintain and communicate RIM policies, standards and guidance across the organization.
• Provide expertise to enhance RIM services and supporting technologies (digital records and content management).
• Identify and mitigate risks related to information management and emerging technologies.
• Provide senior-level guidance under the enterprise data governance framework.
• Collaborate to integrate RIM requirements into enterprise processes, projects and procurements.
• Support information management in digital transformation initiatives including AI.
• Develop communications, training and guidance materials to promote RIM awareness and compliance.
• Establish performance measures for RIM program and engage external stakeholders.
