Mars in Canada is seeking a Digital Platform Specialist to manage deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of digital tools within the Canadian Pet Nutrition business. The role ensures seamless integration of TPM with SRM reporting and core planning platforms like SAP and CRM.

You will oversee master data governance, drive data integrity, and lead cross-functional initiatives with sales, IT, and finance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Trade Promotion Management, Sales Operations, IT Project Management, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with TPM systems (Salesforce TPM preferred).
• Proven project management skills with experience leading enterprise‑level system implementations.
• Strong analytical skills, experience with Power BI / Power Platform.
• Experience in data governance and master data management.
• Experience overseeing system integrations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of sales cycles, trade investment planning, and customer‑focused analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools.

Job Description:

The Digital Platform Specialist is responsible for managing the deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of the Digital Tools and systems within the Canadian Pet Nutrition business.

This role ensures seamless integration of TPM with the Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) reporting system and core source, planning, and analytical platforms (SAP, R2D2, OMP, MMM, RBS, CRM, TREX, High Radius).

Additionally, the role acts as the Master Data Steward, overseeing the governance, accuracy, and integrity of customer and product master data while owning the business-side data management process.

Involvement in additional digital transformation projects may be requested as priorities evolve.

What will be your key responsibilities?

TPM System Operations & Support

• Execute the day-to‑day maintenance and updates of the TPM system, including data entry, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT and business users to resolve system issues, integration errors, and data discrepancies.
• Support and participate in the rollout of new systems and features and enhancements through system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and technical feedback.
• Maintain and update operational reports and modules to ensure operational continuity.

Systems Integration & Technical Troubleshooting

• Perform hands‑on integration tasks between TPM and connected platforms (SAP, R2D2, OMP, MMM, RBS, CRM, SRM, TREX, High Radius), including data mapping, interface monitoring, and error resolution.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to test, validate, and document data flows and interfaces.
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve daily integration issues impacting data accuracy or reporting.
• Ensure accurate reporting for trade spend, investment planning, and performance measurement.

Master Data Stewardship

• Ensure master data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through regular audits and maintenance.
• Apply and enforce data governance policies and industry best practices for master data management.
• Partner directly with business users to resolve data quality issues and proactively address recurring data entry or integrity errors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by designing and implementing process enhancements to reduce errors and improve operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Finance, IT, and cross‑functional teams to gather business requirements, clarify data needs, and support process improvements.
• Deliver technical support and training to end users on systems and master data processes.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for TPM and master data issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication across stakeholders.
