Digital Media Buyer – 12 Month Contract

The UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus in Liberty Village, Toronto, and one day virtually.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing daily campaign deployment and ensuring quality control of artist showcases.
  2. Executing campaigns from specs to revisions and media plans.
  3. Developing and testing strategies to enhance streaming and e-commerce outcomes.
  4. Collaborating with the e-commerce team on D2C campaigns, Shopify integrations, and conversion tracking.
  5. Analyzing campaign performance to inform creative and format optimizations.
  6. Working with agencies to develop campaign briefs aligned with UMC goals.
  7. Managing budgets and ensuring accurate financial tracking.
  8. Onboarding new media partners to expand channel capabilities.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. 1-3 years of experience in music industry advertising or working with global brands.
  2. Experience with social and programmatic ad platforms like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google Adwords.
  3. Ability to translate media results into actionable insights.
  4. Strategic thinking and trend analysis skills.
  5. Self-motivated problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
