BrokerLink in Canada is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to shape digital experiences used by thousands of customers, brokers, and employees. You will apply user insights, design accessible interfaces, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a portfolio, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in Figma and design systems. Benefits include wellness, ESPP, and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in UX/UI Design or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience designing digital products or customer-facing experiences.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI work including research and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience using analytics to validate hypotheses and measure design effectiveness.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and collaboration within cross-functional product teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate existing applications and their UX effectiveness using human-computer interaction principles.
• Design accessible, mobile-friendly interfaces for online quotes, self-serve policy changes, and claims reporting.
• Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, storyboards, journey maps, sitemaps, screen flows.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics to iterate and improve the user experience.
• Run user testing of applications, software, and websites with employees and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet user needs and industry standards.
• Build requirements and coordinate with developers to implement designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand client needs across insurance lines.
