Job summary

Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Digital Content and Merchandising Coordinator to join the Content team within the Product & Brand department. This role focuses on managing product setups and optimizing product pages across major North American online retailers.

The successful candidate will collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and product development to ensure accurate product information and SEO-driven visibility across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years in e-commerce, retail, or product merchandising.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or similar retailer platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PIM and DAM software such as Salsify.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across multiple online retailers’ portals.

Responsibilities

  • Create new product listings and pages on major online retailers.
  • Manage existing product information for accuracy and retailer compliance.
  • Audit product pages and resolve discrepancies, outdated content, or missing data.
  • Troubleshoot page issues with internal teams and retailer support.
  • Monitor page performance and provide data-driven optimization recommendations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-orientedDigital Content and Merchandising Coordinator to join our fast-paced Content team within Storkcraft’s creative, industry-shaping Product & Brand department. This role will focus on managing product setups and optimizing product pages across major North American online retail platforms – from Amazon to Target, from Walmart to Babylist, and everything in between. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our products are accurately represented and optimized for performance on key e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Product Setup & Management
  • Create new product listings and pages on major online retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Wayfair, The Home Depot, Babylist, and other e-commerce platforms
  • Manage and maintain existing product information to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with retailer requirements
  • Conduct regular product page audits and data scrubbing to identify and resolve discrepancies, missing information, or outdated content
  • Troubleshoot product page issues, working with internal teams and retailer support to resolve technical problems and listing errors
  • Monitor product page performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
Content Management & Optimization
  • Ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, and other content meet each retailer's specific guidelines and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate product information, specifications, and marketing materials
  • Update product information in response to changes in product features, pricing, or availability
  • Implement SEO and GEO best practices to improve product visibility and search rankings on retailer platforms
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Track and analyze product page performance metrics across multiple retail platforms
  • Generate reports on product setup progress, issues, and performance for leadership team
  • Identify trends and patterns in product data to inform strategic decisions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and platform-specific requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and product development teams to ensure accurate product representation
  • Coordinate with the Content and Marketing teams to prioritize tasks and share best practices
  • Communicate effectively with external retailer contacts to resolve issues and stay updated on platform changes
  • Support special projects and initiatives as directed by the Director of Digital Merchandising
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or product merchandising
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or similar retailer platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, etc.)
  • Familiarity with product information management (PIM) and digital asset management (DAM) software, such as Salsify
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work efficiently across multiple online retailers' portals
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with baby/children's products or furniture industry
  • Experience with SEO and/or GEO optimization for creating product titles and product bullets - major asset
  • Knowledge of SEO and/or GEO principles and e-commerce optimization strategies
  • Experience with content management systems and advanced product information management (PIM) tools
  • Familiarity with retail platform analytics and reporting tools
  • Understanding of online retail marketplace dynamics and best practices
  • Familiarity with Shopify
