Under the supervision of the Director or designate, the Dietitian provides nutrition services to clients/patients referred to the Bariatric Clinic. Responsibilities include client/patient selection, collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, providing consultation and education to healthcare professionals and clients, and delivering nutrition counseling, teaching, and follow-up based on best practices in bariatric nutritional care. The dietitian works closely with the team to ensure continuity of care, communicates client progress, and may need to travel between sites, using a personal vehicle if required.
