Job summary

River Ridge Seniors Community, part of Park Place Seniors Living, is seeking a Dietary Aide to cover evening shifts 4pm-8pm and alternate weekends 7am-3pm in Medicine Hat, AB. The role focuses on respectful dining, safety, and quality care for residents, within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates value reliability, compassion for seniors, and a clean, organized environment. Food Safe certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, healthcare, or hospitality is an asset.
• Food Safe certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light to moderate lifting throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and service for residents.
• Serve meals in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
• Support special diets and texture-modified meals as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and follow food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with cooks, dietary staff, and leadership.
• Help create a welcoming and positive dining experience for residents.
